I would like to mount my phone and iPod vertically on my current Proclip mount. Proclip only offers a horizontal extension plate: http://www.proclipusa.com/?sectionpa...p_leftorright=

However, flipping this vertically will not allow the devices to be stacked vertically because it is not tall enough. Any ideas on how I could fabricate a longer plate? I'm thinking of using sheet aluminum and drilling holes for the mounts.
