passenger window rolls up then down 4 inches...

LAtely every once in a while when i roll up my windows with one touch the passenger will go up all the way then roll back down about 4-5 inches and i have to hit the button again........ I cant tell if this is because of something my passengers are doing or what... if a friend has his arm on the window when i hit it will it act this way? I cant remember if it does it without friends in because it doesnt do it often really but it seems like ive always had friends in the passenger seat.... what could be the deal. Also it never did this until i got my tint.

your window regualator needs to be replaced. Very common problem, go to the dealer.

It is not a bad regulator odds are they just have to reprogram it. Thats all it was with mine.

well today after my mom opened and then closed my door... the window went back up that 1/2 inch that it goes down and then came about half way down and wouldnt go up. They replaced the window motor is what they said... and now all is good. I needed a car wash anyways and this was a nice way to get a free one

Just like everyone else said, your motor needs to be replaced. Mine started to do that, but I thoguht nothing of it. About two weeks later the drivers side window stopped working. It's going in this Friday to get replaced.
