Um.
That is a mono channel amp, definitely not a plug & play for the OEM amp.

That could run the Bose subwoofer, but you'll need a 4-channel amp to drive the rest of the speakers.

5-channel amps are available and would be a drop-in-replacement (adding a power wire to the battery, of course). However, there's not a great selection of them, so you're usually better off doing a 4-channel amp + a mono amp. You have a huge variety of prices and quality levels to choose from, and likely end up being cheaper for greater watts. The complexity won't be that much more, just run a big, fat, chunky power wire to the back and split it to the two amps.

So the stock Bose amplifier is a five channel amp,? so i was looking on e-bay and i found this amp http://tinyurl.com/ydx43jy i would like to buy it and have best buy install it for me. I was just wondering do i need yo buy the amp wiring kit http://tinyurl.com/yj2nesz or does the car already have a 4 gauge set up.

Yep, Bose amp is 5-channel.
That amp should work well, I haven't used BA for amps, but their speakers are pretty nice.
The car has like 16 gauge to the bose amp. You need that an amp wiring kit.

Oh, and I'd have a real car audio place install. Best Buy isn't the most reputable. Check with the regional forums or local clubs and such as to who can do it right the first time in your area.

Oh and one more thing:
GTA-1005 eBay price: $299.99 + $24 s/h = $323.99. Direct from sonicelectronix.com = $319.99 + Free shipping.
Wires PSK04BI eBay Price: $69.99 + $13 s/h = $82.99. Direct from sonicelectronix.com? $79.99 + Free shipping.

Same retailer. I just saved you $7.

You're right. I still had my Hawaii zip code in there, that's why it was giving those shipping prices.

Carry on.

My sound just went out in the middle of playing..I admit the volume was max when it happened lol..However this problem needs a fix..hopefully somebody will post a fix. The sound of the G35 motor sounds great but I still need music.

I wouldn't bother looking at wires, your Bose amp probably just crapped out. Time for a new amp/amps and I would replace the HU/speakers at the same time.

I have the same exact problem, but I just replaced my Bose amp, and it made absolutely no difference. My stereo will now work maybe 1 out of 8 times. Im guessing it must be the Bose HU now, or a loose wire somewhere.

The same issue started for me now.
Was anyone able to figure out what it was?
Was it really the AMP?

I have had the same issue. The sound does not come work. If I turn the car off and back on sometimes it comes on. It can't be a loose wire. I took the car to Infiniti Dealer and they could not figure it out either. Any recommendations?

Either the radio or the amp, both of which I would fully support replacing.

I had the same problem too with my 05 coupe. It turns out the problem is the Head Unit, not the amp. I brought my coupe to a local Car Audio Shop, said he had many coupes came into the shop with the same problem and 90% is the Head Unit because the amp is very unlikely to have any problem, just not very common. People usually just upgrade to Double Din, but i decided to buy a used Head Unit from a 07 Coupe. Although the serial numbers are different on 05 & 07 Head Units, It works fine. No rewiring needed, plug&play. I thought about upgrading to Double Din, but the buttons on the kit looks off. The shop didn't have those OEM look kits, so i just added an iPod adapter and an Auxiliary Plug. Use iPad mini as my touch screen display on the car which looks way nicer the any of the double din display and sits perfectly above climate control. Use my phone as a hotspot, so i have wireless connection. I'll post some pic of my set up later.
