thats pretty much your only option

or a metra kit

some like em, some dont

go to crtuchfield.com and search parts for you car

the ac controls are the part that makes it kinda pricey, and im sure infiniti patents make the price go up quite a bit

Your options are the JDM kit (which i have) or the metra kit. Some say the metra kit looks cheap and feels cheap. I dont know about you but if you're going to own a nice car, you want only the best. The JDM is a bit more expensive, but its totally worth it and it will keep the feel of your car.

im going to stick with the JDM kit. Ill order soon

i see your sig... i will certainly be PM'ing you soon with help. I have installed many radios, but never a double din with navi. To save me a lot of questions and save you the time of having to explain your self over and over hahaha, do you have a DIY or is there a write up on this site on installing a DD?

thanks

and thanks in advance for helping me

there is a DIY in the stickys of the audio section of this forum.

A double din navi is the same as any other radio

The exceptions are:

1. GPS antenna, easy, just mount it behind the dash securly

2. if you wanna bypass it to watch dvds/control navi, its illegal and a pretty dumb idea, but i can help you if you wanna do it.

if you have any other questions please ask

Bypassing isn't illegal.
Entering nav data or watching movies while driving IS. But to bypass so that your co-pilot can enter a destination is perfectly legal.

true, I should have worded that better.

But if you have the ability to do it, you will

I did it when I had my first Pionner a few years ago, I thought i was cool watching dvds while driving.

In most states if the monitor is withing viewing range and you are watching dvds, its against the law
