Tweeter Replacement
Hey guys,
I'm not a big audio guy. I would think the standard Bose system is more than adequate for my daily radio listening needs. And for the most part, it is. However, the stock tweeters just make my head hurt sometimes. They squeak, whistle, crackle, pop, and sound ridiculously bad.
I am wanting to replace these with something that can produce good sound quality. I'm not looking for top of the line speakers here, just something affordable that doesn't make these god awful noises and makes my standard radio listening pleasant.
What do you guys recommend? I know nothing about audio really, so show me exactly what I need to replace these please. Also, are there any DIYs on replacing the tweeters?
Thanks much.

Read some other thread with my situation. One guy got these cheapo NB1's and said they were great for regular audio needs.
I found some on eBay for $10. Lol?
Are these a direct fit replacement? No modifications needed?

I can't see a $10 tweeter not being an audio assault.
Disconnect them if they're malfunctioning and pick up a good set of components for the front once you've saved a few bills.
