Is there a write up for switching Dual A/C buttons?
i got an 05 double din jdm kit but it doesnt have the dual button. Was wondering if there is a writeup on how to switch the button or instructions on how to do it..Thanks in advance

You REALLY have to grasp that rotary silver **** firmly and pull on it HARD! I promise, it'll pop out (there are clips inthere) and YOU WON'T WRECK IT... but it needs a good pull -- was VERY scared to do this -- didn' wanna ruin a $300 fricken part... (overpriced, for sure).
Once this is out.. you're home free. The DUAL button is LITERALLY attached onto the board via two tiny little solder joints. Heat up one side, wiggle the button a little, then heat up the other side... back to the other side... until it finally pops off. Use a fine tip soldering iron .. it'll make a big difference.
Trust me on that rotary ****. Once i figured it out on the JDM part... it was easy for me to just YANK on the OEM center console to take THAT **** off as well as the volume ****.
Oh, and it'll snap in JUST FINE after wards and works like a charm..
