Hello,

I just got a sound system in my car, and now I need to figure out how to get an aux input for my ipod. I've been using one of those radio station things that plugs in the cigarette lighter and I'm tired of it.

What's the easiest way to do this? I don't care about having it on my steering wheel controls if it's harder to do. Can someone link me to where to purchase this and how hard is the install? Is there a DIY to this?

If you're looking absolutely basic, a WIRED fm modulator may do the trick - like $60 for everything to do it.

 

Alright, I'm pretty confused. I bought this..

Now I just took apart my dash and was about to plug it in behind my dashboard and one of them is way too long and doesn't fit. It says it works for 2003-2007 G35 coupes and mine is an 06. Was it because I need SAT radio? Or did they give me the wrong one because what I have doesn't look exactly like what's in the picture.
