Yesterday I tried to install jdm dd without dual cc button.. Came across a problem ... Dd is larger than the original by 3/16 of an inch.. Jw if anyone had the same problem... Is it because of the navi screen?

 

Totally answered in my shopping/resource list sticky.

There's a different trim for the navi-equipped models that's about 1/8th of an inch shorter. You can try your hand at modifying it, or order the correct trim piece.

Essentially you'll do this:


Only without the failed attempts I did before figuring it out.

Yes I did, and posted why I didn't have it yet in a couple of posts here - they actually sent it in less than 24 hours from when I originally ordered it!
Apparently Mr. Simson at the front desk of my wife's apartment apparently had a blind spot for 40lb, 2' x 2' x 2' boxes in the mail room.

Definitely cannot fault 4080enclosures at all, and the guy was out doing some shows as I suspected.

They might be able to order it in, but some jack the price waaaaaaaaay up to like $400. $200 is the most I'd pay for it.
