Amp Integration Piece required?????
I am getting a Pioneer AVH-3200BT radio hooked up in my 03 G35, and Best Buy said that I may need an Amp Integration Piece (Peripheral ISVE61). I was wondering if I could, cuz its kinda pricey, and if I do id rather buy it from online. Thanks.
Looks like the same thing as the PAC ROEM-NIS2, about the same price too.
If you hook the regular 70-7551 harness up right, you'll get sound out of it, but if you ever want it to get up to full volume with the Bose amp, it's recommended. But still, you're best off getting rid of the bose amp instead of buying crutches to keep it working.

You dont need it. I work for Best Buy myself and for awhile had my Pioneer DD running off the stock Bose system without any issues. If the rest of the Bose system is working fine it really doenst sound that bad either. All that piece does is lower the signal output but Pioneers have such a wide volume control range its pointless. By that I mean an Alpines volume goes from 1-35 and most Pioneer go from 1-62 so even if it maxes at 40 you have alot of adjustment. I cant remember if that radio maxes at 40 or not but you would still be fine.
I have installed for 10 years and done it first hand, if they insist you need it they are idiots.
