Nah, i do like them.

But their subs usually require huge boxes and they need all their rated power since they're inefficient. Plus their prices are ridiculous

Besides that, they're cool.

Those polk subs work in .33 each

So about 1.2 cubes for all 3. That should fit right up against the seat back.

Those boxes suck

They seal off the trunk from the cabin which traps the bass in the trunk

Those are usually the best kind of boxes

Sure, they don't look fancy, but they get the job done.

Also, how often are you gonna be looking in the trunk?

I've heard them.

You're gonna need about 2 cubic feet for a ported 10w6

That's double the size the polks would need.

Multiple subs(in this case 3 8's) doing the job will sound a lot cleaner than 1 sub doing the job.

but better sq with the jl correct? and with two 10w6's would it still hit?
i just looked up vid of 3 8 w3 and looked like they were just really higher and didnt hit as much on that deep bass which i still want to do which is why i figured the w6 was more in the middle...

Those polks would sound better than the w6 in sq. 750w spread across 3 8's>750 going to 1 10

You're gonna run into 2 problems going with multiple w6's

1 is box size.
2 is power.
