I have two 10W6 and a 500 Alpine going to each one. Plenty of Bass and plenty loud.I like the JL speakers, no complaints here.

You keep mentioning LOUD and RAP, and despite what those of us with experience have said, you seem stuck on the 10w6.

Regardless of price, the 10w6 is not made for LOUD or RAP.

I've got a 10w6 in a 4080 enclosure in my sedan, and it's perfect for me, but I'm definitely about SQ, not sharing my bass with the neighbors.

im definitely not about sharing my bass with the neighbors at all either.....thats why i figured the w6 would work cuz its still a sub so i mean as long as i can still feel it hitting and sounding good then id be fine i dont need it or even want it to shake my car like crazy and just be annoying

I have a 10w6 in a 4080 and have been really happy with it. I listen to mostly rap/hip hop in addition to a little of everything else.

You'll like it very much! I have a pair in my trunk. I listen to all kinds of music. Rap/HipHop/RnB/Rock/ClassicRock/Trance/Chinese/Vietnamese/Khmer/ALLKINDS. And I'm pretty satisfied... all coming from the stock unit.. :X

The 12w6 was about 2 inches bigger the last time I compared 'em

You will love the 10w6v2, I personally have it with the 4080 enclosure. It can be loud if you want it to, but the SQ is great.
