Smile Keeping 4080 enclosure in place.

Hey guys i have a 4080 enclosure for the driver side coupe. I bought it used and it didn't come with that metal tab to hold the box from sliding, so is there any alternatives that you guys had done to make it stay without sliding out of place?

It'll fit snug but eventually slide out of the side.

Pics? All new G35 coupe enclosures come with brackets and can't see why someone would remove it...

I have the brackets if it is an original...

Got 'em... yeah, dark for sure! If it is my design it looks like it was altered for a 12? .... not quite sure, though. Just send me some better pics. tommorrow (of the back of the enclosure too) and I should be able to tell if I can help you out with a bracket that will work.

The box is for 10" but the previous owner cut the inside of it to make it fit his 10" since I guess his was a litle bigger or something.
I had a shop make me a mdf ring to cover the gap the previous owner had so now my 10" sub sits out further which is fine and all, it just doesn't look like how a normal 4080 box does :P

Just take some radio strapping (about 12" of flexable metal) cut it in 2 pieces, bend it in half, screw one tab into the back of the box and the other end of the tab into the floor...or just take out your woofer and put a couple screws through the bottom of the box

Still waiting on an updated picture of the back... just want to make sure 100 percent as I've seen a few guys buy what they thought was an original and it wasn't...

No reason to pull out the rigonomics when there is a simpler, cleaner solution that doesn't cut up your ride.
