Garmin 53 ?

Hi Guys,
If you connect Garmin 53 device to the LCD screen ( G35 2007), how do you do the control like selecting an option or typing an address?

Not sure if you figured this out yet or not, but it comes with a RF remote that you use to scroll through the menus.
