I just finished my install but they wont power up... Instead of splicing the cigarette lighter as my positive, i picked up an "Add-a-fuse" and wired it to the fusebox. Now my last guess at what it could be would be the switch. the back of it has two prongs and one slot (i have the m25) The wires they supplied only have female connecters for the prongs and no males for the slots. So i thought maybe the slot is the only input and it has two outputs...

Any thoughts of what else could be wrong?

Nevermind, figured it out after relentless trials... turns out the switch they provided was busted. So i directly connected it and have no way of turning it on or off while the car is on. I'm not sure if that is such a good idea, but we'll see if i get hassled. then i may invest in a switch
