Ok so today i go and turn my car on and the Auto A/C turns on full blast and i cant turn it off and the radio cant turn on either. Was just thinking about reseting the ecu but dont kno really wat to do can some one give me some advice and if this is common Thanks

 

You're experiencing the famous radio/AC problem with our cars.
If you search around the forum, you will find a lot of people having the same problem including myself.
As far as I know there isn't any real fix for it other than replacing the factory radio with an aftermarket one. It also means that you will have to buy an A/C controller too..

Ok well actually it stopped doing it . Then I reset the ecu jus to do it and seems not to be doing it any more. Is it a problem that comes and goes and then its constant?????

 

It'll be back. Start saving for the stuff in the shopping list mentioned above.

As far as I know, the problem is that the power circuits in the factory radio fry the circuit over time, it'll glitch a few times before going out completely, but yeah, it's not a one-time thing.

 

Once the problem occurs, it will happen again at any time. I had this same exact problem on my 2003 coupe and I thought I could put up with it, but it keeps on occurring randomly that it started to annoy me. So I went ahead and replaced the A/C controller and the factory radio.

You should start saving now if you have too because it will not be a cheap fix.

the dash kit itself will cost around $150 for the Metra kit and about and about $330 for the JDM kit. Plus whatever radio you get and its required wire harnesses.

Take some time to read the sticky that linked you. You will learn a lot on what items you need to replace the radio and AC controller.
