If you didn't break the tabs, follow the video. If you did break the tabs... well, you can superglue the two pieces together and follow the video, but getting it back out may be a little more difficult.

What's the masking tape for? Prevent scratches?

I didn't break the tabs. And mine sits semi flush. Just not as flush and tight as before

Yeah, the dash material can get scraped up pretty easily, masking tape prevents gouging it.

Took me at least 10 attempts to get it in. They have tabs that you need to snap on and I'd always have one side go it perfectly and one fall out. Got both and it's snug now. Thanks man.

Don't feel bad, I just figured that method out yesterday. Was so slick that I decided to video it to share in case somebody needed help reassembling.

So I've had it in for a couple days and I like it. Have some issues though. I noticed my CDs play a lot louder then my iPod and iPhone connection. This is particularly annoying cause I tend to listen to my music obnoxiously loud. Being a DJ I just like to feel the music rather then hear lol. When I was testing the unit I was listening to the Chili Peppers and it was good just like it was prior. Some of them sound great and some don't. I don't get it though. Most if not all of my DLs are at least 320kbps. Some of the songs that hit hard on a CD now don't on the MP3 player. Why? Can I fix this? How? This is my main gripe!

I also realized my CD player no longer works. Now, I know when I put the HU back in I left two plugs disconnected. I did this because it seemed as if that particular connection was causing the connection with the iPod to jump in and out. As soon as I disconnected that I had no interruptions. I didn't realize it was the power to the CD player (so it seems) until yesterday when I attempted to eject all CDs at once. Nada. Figuring It'd the cable I left disconnected. FML

I'm dreading going back in there and attempting to fix it specifically cause of that damn clock lol.

^^ Yea if that clock wasn't so hard to remove, it would be a piece of cake to remove the stereo.

Low volume is a common complaint with these doodads. You'll get used to turning it up more

Tian - just be sure when you remove the top piece of the clock trim this time, that you push outwards on the upper parts of the lower trim so that the little nubs separate, that way you won't break them when you pull the top piece out.
