i was just curious if anyone out there has had any experience with the innovatek fd-5tv or similar dvd/tv tuner. any input would be greatly appreciated.

 

Yeah I have that one. DVDs look extremely good with the PAC video input and the stock navi screen.

i used to have that setup in my car, with the AVIC-N1 nav system.
It worked great for me. The only drawback was that it did not have a memory/resume feature for mp3 audio playback, but it does have memory/resume for movies.
TV-tuner worked great, also has A/V input for video games
