Good infos. My cd player crashed several years ago, however I got the dealership to give me a new one. They also took all my stuck cd's out for me so I don't have to go through the procedures above.

Will this work if my cd changer is not "broken" my problem is my cd got stuck because it had a label on it, and caused the cd to get jammed. My changer works its just the cd is stuck. I don't want to try this if it will cause my cd changer to not work after.

If you're careful with the springs when you remove it, you can probably do it without damage. I wasn't concerned about it for this video, and now I don't have a spare headunit to play with with the springs all intact and in place to show how to be more careful about it.

This just happened to me this week! I'm so pissed! What is the warranty that the dealer covers this on?

Just the standard 4-year warranty. It's definitely not the drivetrain warranty.

Oh that blows. lol f my life. I can't believe infiniti hasn't done something about this. I feel my car is still fairly new for it to have this type of problem. Anyway, I guess i'm just gonna go for an ipod jack for now. Thanks for the info....

Thanks for the note and video. First one was under warranty, this one is going to have to be a DIY. Crazy that Infiniti has ignored this one. My car is an '03 that I bought new in 11/02, and has only 53000 miles on it.. It has lived in a garage most of its life, and I am very disappointed with the door trim coming off and the CD player being junk.

Has anyone tried to do the repair on their own? Results? Hints?
