I just bought my 04 G35 coupe. I love the car. I have tons of questions. I have been reading thruogh the stickies on how to install the amp. I can do that very easily. I have a mtx amp I have been using with my Infinity Kappa Perfect 12" sub. The issue i am having is, the box that is with my sub (i purchased when I worked at circuit city years ago) is sort of a trapazoid shape. base is a lot deeper then the top. I can stick the box right that the opening of the trunk, which i really don't want to do. I see the 4080 box but that only holds a 10". Anybody have a 12" recomendation, that will not take up to much space.................... Yeah I would also like my cake and eat it too....................

Any suggestions?

 

I know the 4080 box is over priced, I won this box at a car show. But I saw the price on the box before ripping it apart was only 75 for the box. I have a single 10inch Type R speaker. I've seen dual 10's in this same back in others G coupe.

I have a Zenclosure box with a Type R 12".

It tucks under and goes the length of the back deck pretty good.
