PXAUX in '06 sedan

I had such a great time last night taking apart my dash and pulling the stock stereo out and adding the adapter. Aside from busting a couple of tabs here and there it went flawless. Even found a great spot under the center console to stash the module and run the cables up into the center console (where the Nav would be if I had one).

Here is my wonder...on any device I connect I seem to have to crank up the volume to 100% and also crank up the volume to like 20-25 on the head unit to get a reasonable volume level. Typically with the radio and CD player I hover around 10. This is not a big deal, except if I don't remember and switch to the radio and its blasting.

For those with experience installing a device like this do you have similar results?

That's how it works for whatever reason.
