Oops almost forgot the
Scosche DD Trim Ring Scosche DD Trim Ring
, gotta add that to the list. +$10.

@Wrathernaut & LEDmarkers, right now everything is stock, the amp, speakers, etc. but what if I am planning on going aftermarket for later on, what would I get, ROEM or 70-7550. Because after I do all this with the dash and hu, I'm planning on eventually upgrading everything else (lastly would be a nice sub).

And I would just follow instructions on the brake bypass to get the job done correct? Like I wouldn't need to purchase anything for it?

And thanks for the heads-up on the D3, I'm still looking at everything but I'm definitely considering getting it.

Dont get me wrong a lot of people with bose run the 7551 but i have found the 7550 to be surprisingly a better choice .

oops just realized im not on my other name the04coupe . Oh well heres the link . The sound quality is 100% perfect ,no noise at any level and im picky with audio .OP may also want to check out avic411.com .Great info there and bypass instructions

I had good results with the 70-7550 as well, but I've watched this forum a *lot* and the 70-7550 doesn't work consistently.I'd rather pay $30 more to guarantee it works than to have to spend an extra hour or two troubleshooting a 70-7550 with a car that isn't compatible with it.

The 70-7551 is definitely a bad choice though.

The ROEM can be used with aftermarket amps too, as you'll just be running your own RCAs to the rear anyway.

But if you're feeling lucky, you can try the 70-7550, it'll work fine with aftermarket amps later as well.

Okay thanks.
Ordered, now all I can do is wait.
By the way, does the JDM Kit come in the color that matches my current black interior? I let them know under additional details the color of everything.

Yes, it comes in multiple colors for the 03-04s, they don't list a part number at that site you linked to in your original post, so hopefully they have the right color.

The guy emailed me back and said,
"They're only available from Nissan in one color. It's a titanium/brushed aluminum color. It matches all of the interior colors.
Thanks!"

So is this not true?
Can things like this be painted to match...? Because the order has "already been shipped."

That's true for 05-07s, but not for 03-04s.
mynismo.com lists all three colors, but you can probably get it cheaper through one of the other sources listed on my DDin shopping list.

I don't charge a thing, but it'd be a bit of a drive down to Savannah from NYC.

Try the regional forums for NY to see if somebody's done it before that can help you, otherwise there's a lot of resources on this board if you're willing to try it yourself.

Depends on who you get to do it I guess. Never go to a dealership that's for sure! The guy I found is giving me a great deal because he is a good friend of my good friend. Connections are great.

Ya I don't understand this guy, I replied to his email saying, "Your telling me they are only available in one color, but I can see others have found them in black? Which is the color I need.
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/JDM-INFINITI-G35-DOUBLE-DIN-CONVERSION-KIT-03-04-BLACK-_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQ_trkparmsZalgoQ3dLVIQ26ituQ3dUC IQ26otnQ3d3Q26poQ3dLVIQ26psQ3d63Q26clkidQ3d5194063 85093589714QQ_trksidZp3286Q2em7QQitemZ310292839601 "

I actually sent him a link of a kit that came in black, and still he replies saying,
"I am telling you that it only comes to us in the titanium finish. We have never gotten a black kit."

I feel like replying back and saying, well you sir, are stupid, and should not be selling these kits.

Yeah, that guy definitely is only looking at 05+ for his parts.

Dealerships' the most expensive place to get the kit anyway (except for Riverside and Grubbs, of course).

You're looking at around a few hundred probably. Anything under $200 should be pretty cheap. Especially if you're going to someone that specializes or has alot of experience in installing these onto Gs
