2006 G35X - Factory Bluetooth w/ Aftermarket HU?

Hey everyone, I did a search but did not find an answer (just a thread from 4 years ago).

Does anyone know if I can add an aftermarket head unit to my 2006 G35X w/ the premium package and retain the stock bluetooth?

If anyone can point me to audio wiring diagrams (or the service manual) for this vehicle, that would be awesome. I just bought an 06 G35X and want to replace the radio but keep the steering wheel controleld stock bluetooth.

BTW, I am new to G35 Driver but I have owned a TT350z since 2008 (still a member of my350z and still have the Z).

Thanks!

I did the necessary wiring and relays in response to an identical query some time ago - if you look hard enough you'll find it.

Best option is to get aftermarket bluetooth. You can reuse the mic pretty easily though.you can get the manuals at www.psedog.com/cars/fsm/g35/

You'll want the av.pdf for your year.

Thanks Wrathernaut. Exactly what I needed.

One last ? for you - do you know if the PAC steering wheel control adapter will allow for reprogramming of the phone buttons on the SW?

Only reason I ask is I'd like to be able to use the buttons if possible.

Thanks

Yes the pac and metra both work, but you have to bypass the factory Bluetooth adapter, since it gets the steering wheel button inputs before the radio does.
