well pratik purchased from this site and said the prices were great and the shipping was fast. He said the quality was nice, so im taking his word for it that its ok. I have heard of a number of people who have the innovatek dvd/mp3/cd player and they say it works great. As for the screen included in the combo, I am not completely sure about. But for 679!! its tempting

Hey guys btw, If i were to buy this combo, is there any possibility I could get a custom job to make it fit in the navi compartment? i really dont like the double din thingy partly because it looks like ALOT of work to install (and $400!). Plus it doesn't really look all that great and I dont want the screen to block the AC controls. Is there anything behind the navi compartment that would block the insertion of a deck? I am kinda doubting it is possible because the compartment cover curves.......!!!

Hmm i am considering digital wheelz if this is not possible tho.

Aha!! I found a pic that portrays exaclty what I want to do. Check it out:

Scroll down and see how his pioneer deck is integrated into the navi compartment cover. The screen included with the combo would look really with this setup because it would match with the console's finish.

Thats a nice setup, but I like to keep everything as stock-looking as possible (nothing awkwardly installed)
IS this the install you were talking about that looks really complicated and expensive: http://www.digitalwheelz.com/index.html

Hey Omar, yeah I did get an Innovatek DVD player. I was actually referred to that site by RamboRami as well. The DVD player that I got is nice and is the smallest of its kind so I could fit it in the glovebox along with God_of_CPU's glovebox product. That with the Xenarc screen, it will be a pretty sweet setup.

Not sure just yet. All the prices are so expensive. I'll wait a bit until they drop down though in price. I'm sure that'll be soon with all the technology going the way it is. There's a Kenwood one thats the cheapest. You can get a street price for it (like on Ebay) for a decent price.

Beware of some of those Innovatek screens, theres a reason why they are so cheap. The ones that actually show the brightness stats have horrible brightness. i.e. the IN-7301 http://www.mp3playerstore.com/stuff_...al/IN-7301.htm has only 180 nits!

The xenarc screen I use has more then double that brightness and it still could be brighter.

I agree. I wouldnt waste my money on any of those screens. Quality is probably very poor.

Did anyone figure out if this setup required the AC ducts to be cut?
