Aftermarket Remote Start Problem

I installed an aftermarket remote start system, Viper 5901, everything is working: Unlocking, locking, sensors, trunk open, door monitor, hood monitor, remote start.

The problem is that the unlocking, and remote start requires you to push the button twice o.O Like the first time I push to remote start, the accessory/ignition lights up but dies. Then when I push the remote start the 2nd time, it works. Or if I tried unlocking, first time doesn't work (the parking lights does flash though), but 2nd time works.

Unlocking requires a double pulse. Program the brain accordingly.

For the remote start issue does the car crank and just not start the first time or does it not even crank?

For the unlocking issue - verify with a volt meter that the alarm brain is outputting a double pulse.
