Aftermarket Remote Start Problem

Aftermarket Remote Start Problem

I installed an aftermarket remote start system, Viper 5901, everything is working: Unlocking, locking, sensors, trunk open, door monitor, hood monitor, remote start.

The problem is that the unlocking, and remote start requires you to push the button twice o.O Like the first time I push to remote start, the accessory/ignition lights up but dies. Then when I push the remote start the 2nd time, it works. Or if I tried unlocking, first time doesn't work (the parking lights does flash though), but 2nd time works.

Unlocking requires a double pulse. Program the brain accordingly.

Ah totally forgot about that. I tried setting as double pulse, but it didn't work :s

For the remote start issue does the car crank and just not start the first time or does it not even crank?

For the unlocking issue - verify with a volt meter that the alarm brain is outputting a double pulse.
