Which DD to get?

Which DD to get?
Hey guys...FINALLY making the jump into the dd nav world. I'm currently at a toss-up between two models...Clarion NX501 or Sony XNV-660BT.
A little more info...the nav quality is very important to me, as well as ability to update in the future. I have an iphone so compatibility is important. I will not be running subs or anything like that, but I will be replacing all existing speakers eventually and throwing an amp to power those if needed. I'm trying to stay below $600, so if I'm missing something quality by Pioneer or some other brand, let me know- but these 2 looks pretty solid to me.
Hoping to order this week- let me know!
Thanks,
Tim

Thanks for the heads up...I pulled both links, but basically they are the same price on Amazon, under $600. Just wondering if people have specific good/bad experience with those or similar units...

For $160, you can get a garmin with lifetime free traffic and lifetime free map updates. It can removed too.
I'd do the (Better bluetooth than the Pioneer 4300) + a solid garmin any day over those units.
Total price is slightly cheaper for the separate units, but you get great maps, free traffic, free map updates, better bluetooth and you can take the garmin with you on trips if you need to.

I'd do the Kenwood DDX418 (Better bluetooth than the Pioneer 4300) + a solid garmin any day over those units.

Do you have a slick way to integrate the portable GPS into your car?
Hmmmmm...choices, choices

The best way I've seen is putting it under the cubby lid. It actually puts it at a substantially better viewing position than it will be in the DDin hole.
