Remote Amp Wire?

I'm getting ready to install my Pioneer X930bt, but before buying the headunit, I already hooked up a sub by using a LOC. Now I understand the 930bt has a remote amp wire, and I was wondering how I should wire that cable from the harness to the amp? (The subwoofer amp was installed by the previous owner of the car)

so the question is, do I just connect the remote amp wire at the harness and run it all the way down to the trunk and plug it in to the amp? Or can I leave the amp plugged in how it is right now, and just run the RCA cable from the amp to the subwoofer out output and be done with it? Thanks!

Run your own wire from the headunit, and while you're at it, run new rca wires so you can eliminate the loc.

oh another question, would you run it through the center console or the door sills?

though the door sills is easiest

and yes you can run your power wire next to your rcas

if you get a whining noise, check all your grounds

Center console area wasn't hard at all in my sedan. If you have a long metal rod to shove under the carpet and some makeshift (or real) fish tape, it only takes a few minutes.

Can't be that different.

I ran the power wires along the door sill, and the audio wires down the center console. The center console was by far easier to get to and had less chance for breaking interior panel tabs.
