So i just ended up buying a 15" Sundown Nightshade with DC Audio Level 5 parts. Its a massive sub. Im either going to go with 2 US AMPS M2D2 or a single 2010 kicker zx2500.1 , whats a better choice of amps? Will i be ok with two yellow tops in the back?

id say get better batterys than yellow tops, but cant speak for the amps, never used either. but beastly *** sub man!! **** looks incredible, wish i could have afforded some nightshades, i went with 2 sa's instead.

between the amps, i'd go with the kicker.

I'd take a sundown amp over both, though.

 

I was actually running 4 sundown audio sa8s v1s not to long ago. But i ended up selling them. here was my setup


and i already have a kicker zx2500.1 i was getting a good deal on the 2 US AMPS from the guy i bought the sundown. He said both amps for $600. They are rated at 2000 rms EACH so it will be close to 8000 watts. Where as the kicker amp is 2500 watts rms

 

Kicker Amps are good. You should be fine running that. I have a hifonics one that is GREAT!!!!! Get a battery for your car aw well and use a 0 gauge kit. Anything less you could have a issue in the trunk. I had problems with speakers cutting out until I got a yellow top battery. Solved everything for me.

 

You need to upgrade your alternator also.
