I just put the above. However I get no sound at all. I had factory Satellite but disconnected it to put in the AAI-NIS. I know that they both won't work together, but must assume that if I am willing to give up factory satellite then the AAI-nis should work. Is there something else I need to do to get sound? Is the radio looking for a signal from the SAT receiver? Do I just need to reset it? Please help. GF

 

assuming you connected the wires correct, make sure,

a) reconnected your battery cable ( dont laugh, it can happen)
b) turn the car on, then off, then on again. this happened to me. it seems
the PAC unit must be restarted.
try it out and let me know.

 

Same as above. Mine said "No Sat". I shut it off and when it came back on I had Sat 1 & 2.

 

Thanks to both of you. I ended up disconnecting the battery for about 30 minutes and re-connected it. I think it helped, but I was still having issues.

I had put in a line amplifier for the audio. I used it and it worked fine when I was using a cigarette lighter type FM modulator. However, it didn't work so well with the PAC. I disconnected it and voila I had sound. Thanks again, people on this forum sure try to help others. I hope I am able to return the favors some day. GF
