Got the stereo today! It's amazing, finished kinda late so haven't checked all the features yet but its nice.

The only item is the video bypass module doesn't work if any of you out there try it.. it'll fail. but all the other stuff is good and the orange on the radio matches the stock orange! I'll post pictures tomorrow for you guys once I have finished everything (still got to work on a couple things)

Yes the relay method is what I tried. I have read pioneer changed how it works now making the relay method not work. I have an Idea to put a switch in with the relay, but I don't know what that will do. I have to find what I read again to see if it jogs my memory.

Did you pick up the advanced app cable for the iphone? I heard it was hard to get at the moment-- Also wonder about video files... SD or HD .mp4 supported? .mkv? Thanks for the feedback!

I bought a AVH-P4400H today and was looking around and found this (http://www.ebay.com/itm/Pioneer-Park...-/160727285145) so I bought it. It says it works for the newer models. Can't say if it works yet because I didn't get anything yet but maybe you can give it a try?

- Amp power, RCA, remote
Also, for some reason the rear deck speakers aren't working.

Kei, that is pretty much what I had bought, I have read that pioneer changed the way it all works and the old way doesn't work, as the signal is sent to soon. I purchased one of the 'small' (micro) versions and that is what not working, I contacted the people directly and they have a new version they said it is fully tested with the stereo so I just bought that.. the only downfall is it was 20$ not 10, but he asked when I bought the 10$ one and said about a refund we shall see... I don't really care about the refund just that I can get everything from the stereo possible.

As a reply about android supposedly it works over bluetooth but I would suggest contacting pioneer or wait a little longer for updates from people...

top teke - good job on getting so much done! I had already done my amp install last year so last night was just stereo but I also have reverse camera to do tonight! your sound problem may go away when you run your RCA's so I wouldn't worry just yet.

Word. It's definitely challenging! Hey Mikesta, how did you handle the bluetooth mic - did you use Pioneer's one or were you able to tap into the oem one?

Mikesta, thanks for the info. Did you buy it from the same guy? Just in case mine doesn't work, can you give me link to the one you bought that supposedly works?

Also, did you buy the Pioneer rear camera or a different one?

Thanks!!

No gap - Incidentally the trim provided by Pioneer doesn't even fit. Skosche does though.

@Top Teke, looks good! I bought the 4400BH and wonder if I'm going to have the same problem with the gap and the Pioneer trim. Is the trim from Skosche specifically for the 8400BH or do you think it will work with the 44BH too?

Can you link me to the trim? If it doesn't cost too much I'm probably just going to buy it.

Thanks!
