Amp problem

I have a 04 sedan

I did the " add a sub to your stock Bose system"

And I recently got a kicker am zx750.1 with kicker 2 12" cvr
It has a 4 gauge wire

The problem I'm having

Is that it flickers to protection mode
And the bass **** doesn't work n I know the bass *** isn't broken

Any one can help me. Thanks

If it's flickering it sounds like something might just be shorting out - I'd start by checking all your wiring. Power, ground, speaker wire, and remote for any exposed area that could be touching metal somewhere. It could be that the vibrations from driving are making something touch. Bass **** might be unrelated.

If it's always cutting out and the protect light on, your sub is possibly too low of ohms for the amp to support. How are your 2 12's wired up? If you're in parallel (1 ohm load) then it's almost certainly too low for the amp.

try this

run one sub on your next drive.

if everything works fine you need to check the wiring on the subs

later, try the other sub alone and see what happens.

make sure both subs are dual 2 ohm or dual 4 ohm. If they are different that can cause some wiring issues
