Heating problems after DD install

Just got my car back today. I had a whole new system put in.

I'm having heating problems and have seen a few threads about how I might be able to fix it.

61 degrees + is completely hot air.

I read that it could be the in cabin sensor. I'm having a problem trying to find the location of it.

I see that tiny rectangle vent on the lower right side of the steering wheel. Not 100% sure if that's it or not. If that's it I can seem to pop it out and see if the sensor is connected. I tried to use a screw driver to pop it out but it seems like it's not suppose to pop out. All I'm doing is scratching it up.

I have an 06 coupe in case it's located in a different spot then older years.

I'm going back to the installer tomorrow so he can take a look at it. But I figure if I would look on here and see if I can figure it out myself and save the trip.

If I could just find this thing I could probably fix it myself.

Thanks

The square doesn't pop out, you just reach behind it.

I'm going to have to take the plastic part off to be able to reach it because it plastic runs almost to my pedals. I'll take a shot at it tomorrow when I get up.

That's the only problem I'm having, everything else work with the controls.

Thanks Wrath

Ok, I took the bottom apart and found this thing hanging down. Is this what I'm suppose to hook back up. I just need to find where it goes.

Here's picture I took. For some reason is won't upload my picture so I had to use imageshack.

Here's a picture of the hose I think other members were talking about, not sure. Is this hose suppose to be connected to somewhere also. Everything is so tight under there I can't see where to hook anything back up.

I figured it out. The sensor is completely gone, looks like it was broken off. No wonder I couldn't figure out where that tube and wire plugged into. Going back to the shop today.

Yeah, photobucket too.

Still, can't complain too much, I'm in freaking afghanistan.

Also, that panel should never have required removal in an 05+, your installer should watch my videos :P
