Sound like an Audio AC Finisher issue?

03 G35 Coupe:

I posted a while back about not having heat. Between myself and 2 shops it has never been fixed. I just got it back from the 2nd shop and they said that they did some sort of diagnostic and I seem to have an Audio AC Finisher issue. However, they still suggested that I let the dealer make the final call on it.

Here are the symptoms:

  • Obviously No Heat
  • I would think that when you turn up the temperature to where the heat should kick on, the AC button would no longer be lit. It always stays on but can be turned off manually.
  • The left channel in my stereo comes and goes (this just started). I thought it was a loose wire because it sometimes comes on when I hit a bump.

The light comes on because it keeps the a/c compressor on as a dehumidifier, which aids the defrost and kicking out the moist, damp air.

If the a/c controls appear to work (changes the temp on the display) then it's not the finisher. The temp sensor could have been disconnected, in which case, this post: https://g35driver.com/forums/audio-v...n-install.html will help.

However, my suspicion is that it's a bubble in the cooling system. Check the other non-audio-visual forums for stuff on that subject.

I went for months thinking it was a bubble in the cooling system. It's definitely not. I'll check the temp sensor.
