Noob question...are these compatible with the standard HU and would there be any benefit/improvement in sound for me to install them (assuming compatibility)? Thanks, man.

 

benefit yes as these speakers are built like subwoofers. the difference is the amp that powers it all as well. I believe the top rear deck speakers are subwoofers as well.

I need just one speaker as well..my passenger door one is messed up. I saw someone wanted one other one also and that you didnt wanna split it up.

yes speakers are for front. I will split them up to get rid of them now.
