So this morning I was driving in to work and all of a sudden there was no sound coming from my speakers. I tried changing stations and still no sound. I tried changing to CD and still no sound. The headunit is powered on but there's nothing coming out of the speakers.

Anyone else ever had this issue?

 

Sounds like your amp took a crap on you. Do you have the Bose system?

The entire sound system in the car is the stock BOSE garbage.

 

Get a JL audio 5 or 6 channel amp and replace the amp. Even if it's not the amp that's the problem, you'll want the new amp when you have to replace the headunit, if it's the problem.

 

So all the speakers are powered by the Bose amp in the trunk? There is absolutely no noise coming out of any speakers even with the volume maxed at 31...

Is there anyway to wire the speakers up to be powered by the head unit?

 

Yes, all the speakers are powered by the bose amp in the trunk.

Yes, if you get a new headunit. You'd have better luck powering the speakers from your iPod directly than from the bose headunit.
