I just received a reply from PAC's Sales VP. I asked about the availability of the steering wheel interface that mcastlejr had installed into his 2005 G35. He was surprised that the "secret" was out already...

He said they (PAC) have ordered the circuit boards and planned to start production soon. He made a "guess" that it will be approximately 60 days before the final product is released.

Sounds good to me...

I will be in da '05 dd conversion club soon. I ordered all the parts through j's garage via KIA, aka(Grider35C). Thankx. He is da pioneer of da DD conversion and lives 2 exits away from my house, and will be helping me out. Today I bought the Eclipse AVN 5435 from Al n Ed's. PRICEY !!!! Just waitin now. Will post pix soon as itz dun. Taking all of my other equipment back and getting uther stuph. Will change signature accordingly.

alf, i need a new y-pipe!!! i drove over a piece of metal on the 5 north and i have a hole in mines.... and my front lip is damaged!!

see if yur hookups over there at stillen can get the fujistubo y-pipe...

oh and ask yur installer about the 8W7 and 500/1 JL stuff, i need those too!

Dat sux...

Wuz diz resintlee? Like with in da lassed couple of dayz.?...I will go to STILLEN in da nex cupple uv daze and C bout da Y-pipe. Damn, I wish eye wood uv rote da stuph down u kneaded....I wuz dare 2day...at da steer e oh shop. I will call tomorrow on dat...If you knead a temp Y- pipe, with no holes.......I have 2 stock 1's

Question

Has anyone done the DD conversion without upgrading everything else at the same time? I'm probably going to drop in the Eclipse AVN 5435 first, and worry about the rest later.

Hi! I have a question for the AVN owners: Can AVN read and play MP3s on DVD-R? I guess 4GB of MP3 is always better than 700mb, right?

i dont think the old ones could, not really sure about the new ones, but i doubt it
