I recently purchased a DD kit for my 05 coupe w/navi.... The front plate is too tall to fit with the stock navi controller While I was at the SEMA show last week, I saw a 05'+ coupe with a dd kit and stock navi, I asked the owener if he had to cut the faceplate at all and he said no...

Are there 2 different faceplates/garnish for our 05's?

I dont know why, but some have an issue some dont

 

Jason, can you sell the faceplate alone? I have the a/c controller and the ill fitting faceplate allready.

Hell, I can disassemble my center console and drive to your dealership and try some out LOL find one that fits :P

my guess is this will be a quality product and it's going to cost around $70.. no need to buy new AC controls any more and I think it's going to look nicer than JDM since it's all going to be one piece.

I just found out you can actually order the JDM AC controller WITH a DUAL button present from the factory.

Just thought I'd let you guys know in case you have dual climate control and don't want to ruin your old AC controller.

 

Just got off the phone with a reseach tech guru over at Scosche Industries and he mentioned to me that they are redesigning the electronics to include a dual AC controller and that they are looking to release the whole kit in mid June now. He stated that he can not give an exact price but that it should roughly be around $100....."Maybe a little more!" So at this point I wonder if I should wait or just get to the point a buy the JDM kit

 

if you look at their existing product for the 03-04 Gg35, it doesn't have the OEM look & feel.. i would assume the same for this product... just pay the extra $ and get OEM

 

You got a good point buddy. Got to do it right the first time...

 

I would also recommend you go with part # 27500-AC505 vs AC500 because the AC505 comes with the Dual Climate control button.. however, this would only apply to you if you have dual climate control
