weird amp reset/shut off issue

I have 2 amps in my trunk - kenwood mono channel 600 watts and an infinity kappa 4 channel 500 watts. when i hit a right turn , sometimes... the 4 channel sounds like its shutting off and then turns back in after a second or two. ive checked the wires and they dont look loose at all.

do some amps have a shock protection system on them? i know my old laptop would momentarily freeze the HD if i shook it but i wasnt expecting that from an amp.

any thoughts?

Sounds like a loose connection to me. If you're the one who installed them, and you're the one who checked them, you're doing it wrong... checking your own work isn't a good check.

Photos of your ground and other connections can help with diagnosis, but it's really hard to check these things over the internet.
