2006 infinity g35 coupe bluetooth

Alright I've searched through so many pages even went through the manual a few times can't find how to set up the bluetooth. I have an iphone, I press the button on the steering wheel and nothing happens, bluetooth is enabled on my phone, I've tried everything, just need some help haven't seen a thorough explanation of how to pair it. It doesn't automatically pair when I turn it on on my phone...

Make sure you're not driving and in park.
And press that face talking looking button on the steering wheel, and crank the volume a bit and you should hear the lady giving you voice options. As soon as you hit it into drive the setup will stop, and the lady will be like "CAR IN MOTION, EXITING SETUP". Women...

This of course only applies if you have the package that came with the car. If you look up in the middle you should see that flashing orange light when you first turn on the car and the hole looking thing for the mic.

Yes I did all this... Doesn't seem to work. The voice controls don't come on at all with the radio on or off. Do I hold to button down or anything like that? Like can you give me precise instructions, I've had the car running In park and pressed that button but nothing happened

Literally. When you press that face talking looking button. You should see on the radio it'll say "TELEPHONE", or something else other than CD or the station it's set too.
It will also make a funny tone too. If after pressing that button the radio doesnt change at all. Something is definitely busted.
Are the rest of your steering controls functional?

Did you get it fixed? I have the same problem. I got a new iphone and the car phone system is not responding back to me even though the radio screen says telephone. I say setup, but I do not get a response.

This is using the stock stereo BOSE unit correct? Or do you have some kind of aftermarket stereo?

Did the bluetooth work with your previous phone?

This is using the stock Bose system. I noticed there is no voice asking for command, nor is the mic yellow light flashing!

I think this is more @Wrathernaut s area of expertise, I'll move this thread to the AV subforum.

Did your previous phone work with the car?
