http://www.apexcone.com/Radar/RadarLove.html is the site, and he does a pretty good job from what I've seen... I'm daaam close to getting a G, and then I'd be pimpin w/the V1 too I currently have a VW and it's not an uncommon mod to mount the remote face in diff places, while powering the unit by a fuse - works like a charm

Re: Radar Detector

In all honesty I didn't even know there was a compass or a dimming feature in the mirror.. (have yet to buy a G) but that mirror was from an M3, and works quite well from what I understand.

Re: Radar Detector

if the remote is mounted on rearview mirror, then what is the point of using remote display, you are not hiding the detector display but inviting other drivers to follow you. I don't use V1 remote. I pad my V1 with sticky pad sitting on top of temperature display w/o using suction cups on window. it sits
very stable and easy to remove it and put it in the nav box when not in use. I'm glad that G35 has a extra power outlet on passenger side, my V1 is pluged in all the time without having a power cord hanging right next to my kneel.

Silver/Graphite/Premium/Sports/Winter and love it
