Anyone have pics of the lighting on this? Does it dim with the factory controls as well?

Has the color issue been sorted? I'd like the dual climate version but I want it to match without having to go get it painted. It appears I have the same interior as the one that was done at Car Tunes. 2004 with Black Interior and Pewter-is Center. Definitely not matte gray nor black.

It dims with factory controls, yes. The orange is a bit redder than factory. So is the Pioneer.

Nice! Thank You. That looks way better than expected!

Now just waiting to hear if the color matching issues have been sorted. Would really like one that matches the factory stuff.

Lol. Not particularly. I'd just like to get the right part to begin with. The one that the gentleman at Car Tunes got the second time looks spot on.

I ordered mine black - the sales rep said color just ins't reliable. I'm having it professionally refinished, along with the other pieces, most of which are scratched anyway.

Well they finally got it right! I am very pleased with the results. Not only did they get the dash kit right, but after trashing the adapter that came with the Scosche kit and installing the PAC ROEM NIS2, the sound is awesome in my car! There is a very tiny fitment issue at the top right where it meets the dash but I can live with that. I probably just have to push it in all the way to get the tabs to click in.

All in all, Cartunes really did right by me and honestly guaranteed their installation. I only had to pay for the PAC ROEM NIS2. They said that Scosche provided them with the dash kit and that it wasn't even on their website, so I can’t tell you exactly what color it is. Hmm Take that for what's it worth.

Of course, if I were to do this myself, I would have painted the left and right ends since they are black on the factory radio. But, the silver doesn't look bad, and in some ways it feel like something new in my car.

Now, I lust have to go to battle with Pioneer in order for them to update the firmware of the head-unit so AppRadio/AppRadio Live works with an iPhone with iOS11; and doesn’t constantly through an error code when my iPhone is plugged in.
Any info on your replacement kit. The color matches perfectly and this is what I am after.

What I like about the Scosche kit is the way they integrated the 05-07 Climate control to the 03-05 older center dash. I'm planning on buying this soon. Looks good.

Good luck on the color match, as that seems to be the only complaint about the kit.

i have also finally install my double din using scosche kit with Pioneer AVH-Z2150BT, fitment is pefect, car is a 04 g35 with bose, i just connect everything with the stock harness, so far everything fine other than the steering wheel button, it seems my radio failure to read the button i guess....

Scoshce have sent me 2 wrong kit , i have ordered a black with dual zone ac, while they kept sending me the single zone version, its even more funny that all the box have marked with black dual zone ac kit, they ended up send me a silver kit with dual zone ac and have me switch the panel to the black dash kit

heres the finish product, much better than metra

Anyone know if there’s a particular reason the 03-04 kit wouldn’t fit an 05 sedan w/o Bose? Controls look identical to me, but don’t know if there’s a wiring/mounting difference.

Anyone ordered recently and finding that the color issues still exist or are they sorted now?
