New radio & amp, still no sound

Ran wires from the black and the white wire to the front and rear speakers and the speakers played as they should. Any other ideas? Thanks

So it seems like your head unit is sending out the signal, but its not going past your amplifier. Is the amplifier getting power? Are all the harnesses plugged in?

Yes. Both plugs have power going in. Hope I didn't get a bad amp...

I gave up and just bypassed the amp....

Just something we rigged up. Bought 2 amps and still no sound. So this is what we came up with. Works great.
