04 6MT Electronics Completely Haywire

Hi all, not sure if this is in the right section because I can't find any other posts with this issue. Basically my 04 6mt has lost its mind. Before I got it, a bunch of oil spilled from the gas cap and it is all over the engine, haven't had time to clean it up, but it isn't leaking anymore so I left it alone (maybe a mistake). A while ago it overheated, and after replacing thermostat and changing coolant and oil I figured out it is because the rad fan isn't working. The AC on the car has been not working for as long as I have owned the car, but even putting AC on full blast didn't make the fan move when the engine was at normal temp. Anyway, a couple days ago, I looked out the window of my house and the brake lights were on. The car had not been started for a few days since I hadn't had time to work on it and the lights hadn't come on until now. I live in Southeast US and it is pretty hot this week where I live (85°-105° F) so maybe this was part of it? I got in the car to check fuse box, none of the fuses have been blown. As if it couldn't get any weirder, just as I'm closing up the fuse box cover, the cd player starts making all kinds of noises like it's switching discs or something. I eventually just disconnected the bat. I have a new rad fan assembly coming in, but I'm not sure that will hep with the other stuff. Anyone have any idea what is going on? Again, engine gets pretty hot after about 10-15 min of driving so I'm nervous about taking it anywhere without getting it towed. I really just want to make progress towards getting this car back on the road since it has been sitting in my driveway for about two months. Thanks!

On the lights, seems odd but hows the battery? I know when I have a battery going bad the lights freak out on the car (especially the headlights) but the car can do some pretty weird things.

I haven't tested it with a multimeter but it has died a couple times recently out of nowhere. that may be the cause of the problem. I've also disconnected and reconnected it a lot recently to try and work on various aspects of the car so I may have done something bad to it.

Take out the battery and battery tray. There is probably a shitload of water underneath it ****ing up all the wires.
