I have done a lot of searching about the repair but have some further questions. It seems as it is a radio problem and I have already removed the radio. I currently do not have a precision screwdriver set to get to the circuit board. Is there anyway I can put the radio back in and not hook it up, but connect my AC controls and have them work. I think I will just end up ordering the radio replacement kit and swap it out and hopefully get rid of my problems. Car is a JDM 2001 Nissan Skyline 300GT (from what I gather it is what the G35 is based off of.)

As for the car itself, yeah the Skyline 300GT is basically the same as the G35, it just has a different engine than we got over here in the US, AC and radio should be essentially the same though since it's still a V35 platform vehicle.
