"ING & ECCS CONT" fuse blowing

I am helping a friend with his vehicle, it is a 2006 G35X with 3.5L engine. He though the fuel pump was bad because it didn't cycle when the ignition was turned to on. We replaced the fuel pump and it still wouldn't start. I began digging deeper, then I discovered this fuse is blowing 15A ING & ECCS CONT" in the large / main electrical box by battery.

I can replace the fuse, and get the vehicle to start for a moment or two. Then the fuse blows and it stops running.

Anybody have a wiring diagram for ING & ECCS CONT circuit?

Also anybody have a map / list of locations for grounding points?

Thanks!

Below that window is a "click here to download" button. These manuals are not easy to read but all the info you are looking for is probably there, including ground points.

Well we got it running again. How I do not know. It's almost as though the vehicle wanted to run and just decided to start. I want to check a few things, maybe I understand better why it works now?

1. I replaced negative battery cable, was definitely bad. 2.5 ohms resistance from battery terminal to chassis ground.
2. Opened F1, F2, F3 connectors (side of fender by junction / fuse boxes & battery). Cleaned them and put them back together.
3. Fiddled with headlamp wiring harness (he had installed different lamps and changed the wiring). Although this is different circuit so not sure why would effect ECU.
4. Put in a 10Amp (instead of 15Amp) fuse. I had run out of the 15 amp fuses.
5. Charged battery overnight.

Car blew a couple more fuses for the ECU through out this process. Then all the sudden, it started right up. No clue why. I tried to get it to fail again (silly as that sounds) and I could not.

I suspect the issue was in the wiring somewhere. Same side of fuse block for ECU would show connection to ground AND power of battery. Never figured that out. Pretty sure that's not normal.

But it runs. Any ideas what this issue is? Is there anything odd about the ECU circuit that has come up? I couldn't find anything in searches.

Sounds like the repeated shorting out of the circuit eventually just blew apart the dead short so now it's no longer shorted.

Go through every button in the car and find out what's not working anymore, SOMETHING probably doesn't function anymore.

Here is a link to a thread with a bunch of snippets from the FSM that shows all the systems that THAT fuse supplies.
