Hi, I was just wondering if anybody has good equalizer settings for the Bose system? Without an equalizer it doesn't sound great, but I've been having trouble trying to figure out some good eq settings.

Also attached as 256.txt is the frequency response from 20-16000, although it was measured using a phone microphone so it's probably pretty unreliable.

 

EQ is such a personal taste thing. My pref is to have it sound natural so fairly flat, but some folks really like to boost top and bottom for a "smile" curve. Also in our cars it depends on how much you have the Fade setting panned from front to rear, the source you're listening to, whether you use the automatic volume adjustment setting, etc... That said, once you start driving the engine and wheels introduce a lot of low frequency noise to compete with your music. Hey, it's not an ideal listening environment.

Just set it to where it makes you happy!
