At one point my ignorance told me a 4080 box can be purchased elsewhere on the internet.. To my surprise, it cant! i would prefer not to post pointless replies as such to get to 5 so you can PM me, but am in need of 2 10" stealths for my Coupe.

4080 ... I was wondering, what is your recommended way to secure the box? It looks to fit perfectly, but how would you keep it from sliding around?

The box features a aluminum mounting tab. This tab is mounted to the top of the box. This tab is held into place by the rubber trunk gasket. The gasket is lifted and slid over the aluminum tab and the trunk pinch moulding. This allows you to take the box out in less than 10 seconds without tools. Pics are attached.

Wow that's excellent! My goal with my install is to keep from drilling holes / tapping into wires down as much as possible. I assume the sedan box has the same setup?

Because of how the sedan box fits in the corner of the trunk the aluminum tab is not needed. The box fits very tight, no movement. Ask the guys on the forum that have the sedan box.

Thanks, 4080

hey 4080 im running your box with a jl 10w6v2 and a zapco 500.1.
When i adjust the gains a lil on the hot side the sub sounds like its popping.
If i add some polyfill to the box what would the effect be on the sub dynamics?
