very nice, i have a 9835 in my car...will post pics in a sec
edit: pics posted below. my cousin helped me on the install.. we noticed the 9835 wouldn't fit perfectly in the dash so he cut the inside trim of the double din piece..not sure if any of the other 9835 owners did that, i havent seen it yet..

to get the car you have to go into the setup menu and look for "BGV"
you either keep hitting menu until you see bgv
or
you hit menu until you get to setup, then hit the >>| key until you get to BGV.
sorry i cant remember all that well, the user interface on this thing is horrible
btw - the car is a 350z!

I had swapped speakers in Phase 1 in 04. The problem is, Bose speakers are 2 ohm, so it makes things a lil iffy if you try to run it through the Bose Amp. I ended up using a 4 channel LOC and a 5 channel Amp (which is now relegated to 4 channels while my MRD-M501 handles sub) and swapped all speakers out to 4 ohm. It's a CONSIDERABLE difference in just speakers and amp, but when I moved up to the aftermarket HU, it gives you total freedom to control everything!

Well, I have all I need to attempt a test on this. Here is what I'm thinking of doing;
Isolate front channel from the HU to connect to new amp.
Front speakers including tweets have been changed already and they are 4 ohm
Connect front speakers to new amp leaving back speakers and woofer as is on the Bose.
New amp will be connected according to specification, meaning: minimum 8 gauge power from the battery and ground. Remote cable from existing etc.
This should work (I think) but my concern is with leaving the Bose front channels without connecting anything on them.
I look forward to any comments you may have on this.
Many thanks
