nice sub without moding stock bose

i was wondering if it is possible to just add a sub in the trunk (in one of those amazing 4080 boxes) without changing the stock bose system and if it is how difficult this would be. thanks!

if you have a coupe, it's simple since the bose amp is in the back and you can pick up the sound signal right there. I never ran wires myself before and the whole job was pretty easy

it will work...I'm not sure exactly how to do it but you use an adapter. The only problem is the sound quality. It all depends on how you listen to your music. As you turn up the blose, the quality of the bass gets worse. At lower volumes the bass sounds great but after about vol 18-20 it gets distorted and weaker. It adds some punch, but if you are interested in a clean nice sounding bass, you must change out the head unit.
