Burning MP3s tips needed

First off, I have a 2005 G35 stock stereo. What program do you guys use to burn MP3s? I tried burning a CD-RW using Toast and when I put it in my stereo it could not read it. Can I burn MP3s to a CD-R instead....I have quite a few more of them. I tried to use Itunes to burna MP3 CD, but gave up. Do I need to create folders for Toast or can I just drag and drop a bunch of MP3s in the audio window.

Hi,
I use Nero. Basicly you just drag your MP3's, folders and all to the cd. I'm using cheap *** cd's and they read fine. You should burn the cd's as data cd's not audio or mixed mode. Hope this helps.

Cd-RW will prob not be recognized. CD-R's will work though.

Try: NTI CD maker or Roxio.

You should be able to just copy the .mp3 files to the cd. Make sure you are creating a data CD and not an Audio CD, so the files are moved as .mp3 data files.

I just made a CD full of mp3s and used Nero. Like mentioned above, just create a data CD with folders. The folders help sort your music so you don't browse through 100+ songs to find the one you're looking for. Now all I need to do it figure out how to turn on the song tags to see what I'm listening to.

For CD-RW you need to finalize the disc in order for it to be played. I don't have a G yet, but my corolla can play CD-RW, so I'm pretty sure the G can also.

When buring, choose the Write Method "Disc-at-once/69" it's from the pulldown menu on the burn screen. The inyour G just hold down the DISP button.

OK, i thought I was good to go, but then I played the CD. It only plays the first 4 folders and I have about 12 folders worth of stuff. Do i need to put everything in 1 folder or create subfolders within the first 4 folders?

Try putting them all in one folder.
